I think it has more than seniority that is the difference. Remember that JE was a first year P5 player. He did not have a year under his belt of learning the system. He was the most dynamic player we have had since TT and maybe since MV1. Not saying he was as polished but a dynamo.
JJ is a nice person but just do not see the fire in him or the athleticism that we will need without a vastly improved O line. This is more a comment on the O Line than on JJ.
