They are enjoying the Big Ten money.


Nebraska has reached full share of Big Ten money. They are excited about that part. But they are in a demographically challenged region for football talent, and by moving away from Texas, they have cut themselves off from access to a hotbed.

So while enjoying the money they'll be firing football coaches and athletic directors on a regular basis. They just fired their AD last month. They're saying what the rest of the Big Ten are saying: "football success is cyclical". But the demographic shift is not cyclical. It's a trend. Away from that region.
