You're assuming what they did in the 80s and 90s, they can do now.

Perhaps they can, but the trends are working against that. They will do great on their official visits in recruiting. It's the many unofficial visits that the recruits can now make to the campuses of the Texas schools and to games with other schools playing the Texas schools in Texas that become difficult. Nebraska is far away.

I've heard interviews with Bo Pelini saying that they do well if they can get them to Lincoln. But they only get 1 official visit. It's just harder.
