Place I used to work had a big customer in Japan. Any time a supplier
had a defect, the customer demanded a full investigation including countermeasures that would be implemented to prevent a similar problem from happening ever again. Fine.
One time our system was being glitchy and wouldn't start up without faulting. Our software engineer did a remote session, couldn't really find anything wrong, and asked the tech on site to reboot the system. Everything worked fine after that.
Then they wanted to know what we were going to do about that problem. We were kinda stuck with the confused puppy look...it's a computer, it glitched, you rebooted, it now works. If Japan somehow has computers that don't behave like that, then please send us some.
