My ENT tells me not to remove it. He put a new tube in


one ear. The wax had impacted and was plugging up the old one. My hearing was like I was in a tunnel. Lots of fun having him remove the old one and putting in a new one after vacuuming out the fluid. Ear drums are sensitive and painful. I think I will still try to remove the wax, but not with a Q-Tip.
