Two issues there


First. Yeah. We love our cars. But that's generational. I'll not about to give up driving. But my kids don't drive yet, and if robocars are a thing in the next decade or so they may never develop the same attachment. My grandkids almost certainly won't care.

As to the jobs. Well 80% of the blue collar job loss on the last decade has been to automation. Mostly people just want to cover their eyes, blame Mexicans, and vote Trump. I imagine if the transportation sector goes away (and it will) we'll probably have to blame Canada or something, and build a second, even longer wall.
