home football games on Saturdays at 1pm because their stadium doesn't have lights. If they play a home game on Friday, then kickoff is around 4 or 4:30pm. Sometimes they are able to play the entire game and other times the game is called due to darkness. FWIW it appears that HS varsity football is played on Thursday nights, Friday late afternoons, and Saturday afternoons across this country.
