I'm not trying to tell you that some people aren't going to

stop or reduce giving.

I am skeptical about the "sea change" doom-and-gloom of the article cited.

Lots of people give at least as much for the ticket/parking benefit it gets them as for the charitable aspect, whether they'll admit it or not. I do.

Like I said, it'll be interesting. Some people will surely give less. Some people will not. No one is going to give more because of it, so it surely will have a negative impact...just will be interesting to see how much.
