Had a friend go to jail... take no chances


Long story, but troubled girl who had accused and lost accusing several people of impropriety. She was a minor who stayed at his house on sleepover.

Friend slept in room alone ... but later she accused him af assault ... no witness or evidence. He was accused and arrested.

His attorney said “fight it and lose, you get 20 years in the federal pen. Plea and you get one and are a sex offender”. He took the plea not to lose his whole life. No one ... his friends, family, her family, etc believed her.... but it is a gamble he wouldn’t take.

Told my wife no girls sleep over without her home. If they do, sons sleep in the same room and I never leave it once lights are out. You can’t take chances anymore... world is messed up imo. Sad but true
