I don`t. While VT loses Teller,it looks

likely that Nijman returns. Hoyt will be a good replacement for Gallo at Center and Chung has a good shot at getting another year(medical). Pfaff has shown improvement. While Phillips leaves,VT returns Savoy plus two really good young WRs in transfer Hazelton and Farley(who was expected to be an impact player before his injury). Kumah has been getting better as a big, possession type WR. Keene has made some good catches and should be more involved next season. Deluliis was going to be a factor at TE before his injury. He is 6`6 with good hands. VT doesn`t have a big play RB currently, but Holston and McClease should get better. VT has a chance to flip Tennessee commit Anthony Grant who could make an early impact. The Spring will be interesting at QB. I expect Hooker to challenge Jackson. The competition should make both better.

On defense, there is a pretty good chance that most,if not all,of the underclassmen return. If that occurs, the defense will be very good. The DL will be very strong.VT will lose Stroman and Facyson, but they lead for 4* JUCO CB,Webb. He could immediately challenge for a starting spot. If they return,Adonis or Terrell Edmunds could play CB. The other DBs should be good(Mook,Floyd,Diablo,Hunter,Ladler). If Tremaine returns,VT will just have to replace Motuapuaka. While a good leader,he was up and down in his play and not a tough LB. Rivers or Ashby should challenge for the Mike spot...both are tough.

So,there are some question marks for 2018. But,next season has the potential to be a very good one despite having some early tough games against FSU and ND.
