I use water. Sugar,salt,soy sauce, and Chardonnay for my brine


2 cups water 1.5cups wine, 1/2 cup soy, 1/4 cup salt, 1/3 cup sugar.

I add different things sometimes. If you add to a brine make sure you don’t use any thing acidic.
