He was definitely old school, nice guy but not conversvative


Alot like Jim Weaver, if he was in the red, he cut expenses, He never really focused on upi the game in fund raising. During his reign, clemson seemed to coast. Now with the existing AD and focus on development, they raising more money, which generates funds for all sports (including salaries). Expect them to focus on basketball soon
