Beamer - was not initially successful enough to be poached. Once he had success, he nearly left for UNC (which is well beneath us as a program now - how times have changed), but only stayed because we were his alma mater

Dooley - not successful enough to be poached - had winning seasons, but only had one 9-win and one 10-win season. He only finished ranked once. Nobody is poaching him

Sharpe, Coffey, Claiborne - fired

Moseley - only moderately successful as a coach, retired from coaching to be our AD
