It appears this year's team has a wide range of outcomes...


Everyone is quite capable, but man is this season hard to predict. DMF gets the top spot for power rankings this week and he is solid. Other than that anything can happen. The range of potential season ending outcomes is very large.
Looking ahead to NCAAs -- it is waaaay too early, but...

Best VT Case: DMF, Sully, ZZ and JH all place high 4th or better. Gus AAs. And the young guns all show upward trend and we gt a couple of surprise NCAA appearances.

Worst VT Case: DMF does well. Sully loses a close one early and gets bounced. ZZ and JH get caught in one of those bad moves and gets bounced. Gus doesn't qualify from ACC. The young guns all stop trending or get worn down later in the season and take a step backward.
