So its more elitism in practice


This is how all toll roads eventually work. We have one from the foothills to DIA, and the price started at 50 cents per segment or so. Now it is $3 per segment. It costs me $35 to drive there and back, about a 30-minute drive each way at 75 mph, for pick up/drop off. But the level of traffic that way is so much less than going any other way, especially at rush hour, that we do it. For now. At what point would we stop? Not sure.
