Here’s where I stand with things like this


Few are the things that I need to remember somebody by. I prefer memories in and of themselves. So in that regard, it’s just stuff to me.

I don’t want to be saddled with stuff other people want me to have (my mother was famous for giving me stuff I didn’t want. It was her stuff).

Also, when somebody passes away, all agreements/promises are null and void. At least to me.

So if you send that ring off for it’s gold value and buy something you really want and will enjoy, this is far better than keeping that ring in a drawer and never using it.
