Seriously doubt that would happen.
No matter how bad TN is struggling finding a new coach, they aren't going to go for anyone who hasn't either been a head coach, or was a coordinator at a very successful P5 program.
That's why Shane needs to get off his butt and take a mid-major head coaching job ASAP!
For some odd reason, I think Shane values "comfort" over taking a risk that he can't cut it at a higher level of responsibility. I think he can cut it, but we'll never know until he decides to take a chance. Heck, he can always fall back to a similar job if he fails...
