I volunteer for UMPS CARE Charities (www.UmpsCare.com), the official charity of MLB umpires. One of their main activities is visiting childrens' hospitals throughout the baseball season and bringing a full Build-a-Bear workshop -- 100 bears plus choices of outfits -- for the sick kids there.

This year a couple of their main fundraisers got canceled due to the hurricanes, so they're doing a year-end push to try to fund ONE hospital visit next year. They're looking for 100 people to donate $50 -- that's enough for a bear and an outfit for one sick kid.
