I agry. Lots of blame to go around & if Tech's transition is the model....

for how it SHOULD be done, then's UT's is the model for how NOT to do it.

Currie waited too long to fire Butch. IMO.

Currie's first thought was Greg Schiano because Jimmy Haslam is friends with him. That's pretty bad.

Fulmer is trying everything to sabotage Currie and get his job, seriously hurting the program in the process.

The Chancellor is pissing off Haslam who is their biggest donor. And in the meantime hamstringing everything Currie tries to do after giving him full reign to hire the new coach.

Meanwhile at Tech:
HOF coach steps down and announces it early so the AD can get a new hire quickly.

New coach meets with the DC who didn't get the job at the AD's urging and they hit it off and DC elects to stay on as DC and Associate Head Coach.

New coach celebrates HOF coach be electing to give his old jersey number to the most deserving ST's player of the week. The thing the HOF coach is known for.

HOF coach visits practice often and spoke to the team before the UVa game in 2016.

Everybody in the program, including the new coach, refer to the HOF coach simply as Coach.

I love being a Hokie!
