I think the nature of the injury is speculation. Stress fracture seems to be the concensous and makes the most sense. If that’s the case I firmly believe that it pre dates the Miami game, got progressively worse as the season went on, and was hindering his play seemingly since post Clemson. I also read something about a soar shoulder and that reminded me of the struggles Randall had his first year as starter, so that seems reasonable too. What I know for sure we never really saw the JJ we saw vs. WVU.
