Thanks for the responses, I don't know why i hadn't thought of his past

In retrospect, I see how its a good thing for him to stay home. Curious that he announced before taking the bowl trip, etc., but I guess it's good that he did so that any potential negativity is removed from the team leading up to the game.

If this kid wants to be a 1000 yard rusher as he promised the last two years he would be - he prob needs play FCS.
