Good advice

This was the first time I've ridden when it was below 60F, and found it to be a learning experience.

I wore a lightweight pair of wool/synthetic hiking socks. That was OK for the 40s, but will look into shoe covers for colder rides.

The cycling jacket I ordered has back vents too. I'll have to play with layering until I get it right. Hadn't thought about a thermal cycling jersey.

I definitely don't want to freeze while I'm changing a tube. Will err to the side of warmth.

Thanks!
