Here's a really good read about the whole process. The new pitch/field is going to be something the world has never seen in a stadium, and it will be possible to play a soccer game and a football game on the same day, theoretically. Though to me, it sounds like a Saturday EPL game followed by a Sunday NFL game would be better. Though the fields can be switched out in 25 minutes, so theoretically a double-header is possible.
