I've been in a few cover bands with friends and every drummer did it, ha


they were all looking cool and one liked to flip his sticks in the air. Showmanship for sure, although I can definitely see some drummers doing it for timing reasons.

My buddy's kid is becoming a helluva drummer (he surpassed his Dad years ago) and he's damned good at twirling and tossing em.

In fact, here he is at a contest.
