If you think it will keep going

I had a 98 Merc E class with 180k in 2013. The tranny went out and it was $4k to get it fixed. I thought long and hard about it cause it had been a perfect car. But, I was worried that I would get it fixed and then I would have an engine issue. I think if I had a kid of driving age, I would have felt differently, as a car that good would have cost more than $4k. So, if you think it will last 100k more miles, give it to her.
