I graduated from VT in 86 and do remember VT getting the Metro shaft


But that's not really the same thing.

Also remember Temple getting booted from the BE, which I guess is the closest thing to a school truly getting expelled. But that was more for TU's failure to meet minimum attendance guidelines, IIRC.

I still can't think of a single case where a school was kicked out of a conference due to scandal.
