Either Chris or Ricky has already addressed this earlier this year.


It's their belief that KJ's dad is very hire-able on his own right, whether or not KJ is involved. In other words, if KJ didn't exist, the Dad is qualified to fill the 10th coaching spot, especially since he'd be an asset in recruiting NC, and especially the western half of NC.
