I don't hate markets... I encourage them....
but our options for connecting to the internet are being whittled down to only a handful... not much of a market...would a large-player allow a new, tiny ISP to enter with no restrictions? Wouldn't a big provider, like Comcast be able to negotiate a hefty payout by netflix to allow better access to content, versus what a small provider could get.
What is comes down to, is we can't really change anything about what decisions are made. We just have to hope we don't get screwed too bad.
