When that happened, I was living 25 miles south of there in CT


and my daughter was in 1st grade (not at that school, obviously) and it REALLY hit home "it could have happened here".

I can't imagine the mind or motives of any mass killer like that, but I ESPECIALLY couldn't see how someone could look into the face of a 6 year old.....and do that. Truly sick.

The only incident of that kind that affected me even more than VT.
