(Useless info post): Willard must've been English....

....from http://www.greyorgray.com:

"How do you spell the color: 'grey' or 'gray'? Well, the answer is they're both correct.
There are two acceptable spellings: 'gray' is used primarily in the U.S. & areas that speak 'Murican' [My note]. 'Grey' is used in Great Britain & areas that use UK English. When all else fails..

"grAy" is how it's spelled in America
"grEy" is how it's spelled in England

HOWEVER....according to a very comprehensive color charted provided by Clorford.com (a trusted [Me: by whom?] resource on color swatches [me: Now THAT looks cool on a resume....NOT]), 'grey' and 'gray' are actually two different color swatches. (ME: see pic in website)

According to a survey conducted both in the U.S.-of-by-God-A and England, many people [ME: prolly said "who gives a freakin'/bloody crap?" But others with no life...] perceive "grey" as an actual color that is a hue of "silver", whilst "gray" is a sliding scale of values from black to white.

ME: So now we males have one more piece of totally useless info to clutter our brains (along with, in my case, the starting lineup of the 1970 Orioles). However, this one has more potential to impress easily impressed females, co-workers, acolytes, etc.

You are one useless fact smarter. Now go back to bed.
