50 years ago today the Mothman Prophecies came to fruition with the collaps


of the Silver Bridge in Point Pleasant, WV. I remember as a very, very young child going to Detroit shortly after that happened. When we were at the Ohio River getting ready to cross I remember my parents talking about the collapse. I was afraid to cross the river because I thought it might happen again.
