Yeah we could have and should have won.


But I don't necessarily think KBJ's foul issues or lack of another big man was the key. In general, I thought our guys got way too rattled by defensive pressure in the second half, and as a result we didn't move the ball as well, didn't push tempo as well, and didn't work hard enough to get open threes. In a nutshell, small ball wasn't as big a problem as simple lack of execution of the small ball strategy. Some of our best work in the first half was done with Clarke as the tallest player on the court.

The positive for me coming out of that game was that we went toe-to-toe with a much taller and very athletic team and we didn't lose because of either of those factors. Learning how to break a press and making better decisions with the ball are both very correctable.
