Yep and it’s incomprehensible that wasn’t considered a catch

Once again an athlete gets control of ball and THEN makes a football play and reaches out

The rule was designed to clear up gray area for airborne receivers attempting a catch as to when catch is completed. It should never have been stretched to interpret a guy with control and feet on the ground lunging with the ball and then losing control AFTER hitting the ground in end zone
