If we are to believe Ren that Rey's parents were just a bunch of common folk nobodies, then the end scene with the boy using the force on the broom was definitely to hammer the point down of any randoms can use the force.

The best scene to me was the round about move done by Admiral Purple Hair to destroy Snoke's ship. It was pretty intense in that the whole theatre was dead silent, a very cool effect. However, I thought Admiral Purple Hair was the wrong character for this moment. It should have been how they killed Leia off. Or better yet how Admiral Ackbar went out. It is the one scene that will come to mind to me when ever I think of the movie in the future, so it was a disappointing choice of characters to be tied to that scene.
