Turns out, Porgs really aren't there just to sell toys to kids


Apparently, the island where this was shot is a wildlife sanctuary covered in puffins. They couldn't be physically removed, and it would have been a pain in the rear to digitally remove them all. It was easier to simply digitally paint a porg over every puffin.
