While I understand almost everyone believing OkSU will win, for some reason i don't. Maybe it is my maroon colored glasses but this is how I see the game turning out.

VT's defense will make plays. The D-Line will cause havoc & the VT CB's will play tight coverage & pick at least 3 INTs. I also expect 2 fumble recoveries for VT. It seems like when we least expect VT to win they come up big & I expect that to happen.

The VT offense is going to run the ball 70% of the time with some trick plays as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see an extra offensive lineman on several plays as well as 2 TE packages. I believe the game plan has to be run/run/run & more runs. If VT can catch OkSU on D w/ the wrong alignment, then I believe VT will no-huddle & no substitute them into being overmatched with the extra OL & 2 TE arrangement.

Special teams should help VT win the field position battle too. I know Rudolph is a great passer, but I believe he will be sacked more than 5 times and hit/rushed a lot more.

My score prediction is 32 - 24 VT.
