If the Playoff Inc. or whatever the private entity is called


decides that all 5 power conferences should receive an automatic bid and the same consideration is not given to the G5 conferences, then it runs the risk of violating antitrust laws. It may be able to avoid antitrust laws if it gives 1 spot to the G5 conferences. Remember the power conferences and the entity that owns the Playoff, BCS, or BCA were not the same group. They just happened to work closely with each other.
