Much is made of Fuente's system being plug and play for QBs

I think any QB that doesn't turn it over would put up decent numbers in our offense....but....there is no substitute for athleticism. Evans > JJ in my opinion. Not just at running, I think there were throws that Evans was better at too. The fade in particular, just seemed like he had better ball placement on throws like that. Neither of them are what I would call accurate on the deep ball....but IMO I don't even think half the starting QBs in the NFL throw an accurate deep ball. Many of us said we were glad to see Evans go. I honestly wish he had stayed. I don't know if the swagger he had was indicative of a "me" first attitude or not. But it really doesn't matter, when the lights came on he was a gamer, and he left it all on the field, and it sure seemed like the guys playing around him knew it. That's why I honestly feel bad things haven't worked out for him at the next level. I know its something he really wanted, and felt was within his grasp.
