Dr. Patrick endorses nothing.
She might suggest that something has been shown to be helpful, she might state what she does, she might state what someone might try in certain situations. But she does not endorse anything. Furthermore, she's extremely conservative in what she does suggest someone try. If there is not sufficient evidence to support a suggestion, even if the preliminary evidence is pointing in a certain direction, she suggests holding off. The idea that this is bro science is utter nonsense. The only claim of this being bro science that I am aware of came from a well known vegan blogger whose own claims simply don't hold up to scrutiny. "Bro science" is just another phrase coined to dismiss someone else's views without actually examining them.
