I would not be surprised, or particularly angry, if it all went away in my lifetime. Like it would be a huge bummer...but I'd get it.

I'm also honestly not sure what the fan reaction should be. I also often think about the brain damage that is surely occurring on my screen every weekend...but do the players want me to stop watching? The salary cap in 2017 is $167 million per team...if the sport goes away so do those paychecks.

Who should make the decision for them?
