My claim was not that all university science is wonderful but rather that as a whole it is the best science that we have. Science requires money and all industry money will be directed towards some end. As a whole, that is good but it also biases the science. Science funded by the government is not entirely unbiased, however, it is the least tainted that we have. In this particular case, the science being referred to has to do with nutrition and metabolism and the like and in that area, there is a lot of trash research conducted by nutrition firms. University research is like data from God compared to that.
