because there is no objective way to measure any "differences." At best it is a self-fulfilling descriptor to justify why all P5 teams are "superior" to all G5 teams. It is silly to try to project how a team would do playing another team's schedule because anything can happen on any given day. There is no way to predict if an upset (even one that is 1 in a million) will occur and/or when it will occur. It would be like saying in 2010 another P5 team would have lost to both Boise State at FedEx and JMU at home 5 days later if VT had swapped schedules with that team.
