No doubt coaches have

personal preferences and philosophies for the way they want their teams to play but, the successful ones all recognize the true metric is W's and they are adaptable enough to fit their schemes to their personnel and whatever gives them the best chance to walk off the field with the W. Fast and entertaining can get you fired quick if you do not win just like slow and plodding. The converse is also true. Win enough and you can stay employed being slow and plodding just as easy as you can being fast.

Fuente may prefer fast and the O may eventually depict what you envision. Just my personal preference but, I prefer the W irrespective of how they get there. He's done a good to great job of winning his first two years in Blacksburg and I think by almost all accounts the transition from Coach Beamer to coach Fuente would be deemed one of the most successful transitions from a legendary coach to his replacement currently on record.
