Where it helps is when the committee starts looking at things like


Top 20 wins. Top 50 wins etc. and comparing resumes beyond the computer rankings. Just having big wins helps a lot IMO vs. teams in small conf. (and even lesser P5 conf.) that won't be getting those type of wins. We may be lower on the RPI scale but have the better resume. That's my hope anyway.
