He was ranked #12 at 220 last year...


Was a four-time Fargo All-American and a two-time NHSCA All-American, so a decent resume. When I watched his HS film, I saw a great work ethic but a lot of room for improvement skill-wise. He won the Frosh bracket (wrestling for SERTC) at the Hokie Open and went 0-2 at the Wolfpack Open. Initially, I thought they were trying to grayshirt him this year, but he's now back on the roster. I think he's a year behind guys like Smeltzer, Borst and Manley and wouldn't be shocked if we saved his redshirt for next year.
