Too bad Penn State, Florida State and Miami couldn't start a conference in the late 80s. That conference could have included South Carolina, East Carolina, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Pitt, Rutgers and Syracuse. At one point, all those schools were available at the same time. WVU was very good then, as was Syracuse. Pitt was less than a decade away from where they were dominant. Maybe switch Boston College for either ECU or Rutgers since they were just years removed from the great Flutie.

Could have been a good conference.
