Yup... Blacksburg is quite isolated compared to MOST other FBS schools


Richmond is 4 hours away. Hampton Roads is 5.

Hence the NC2VT push, since Greensboro is only 2 hours away while Charlotte and Raleigh are each only about 3. But most FBS schools are either in a major market or within an hour or two of at least one.
