Yep, and even 'legit' businesses do it


Certainly get plenty of robocalls, but I just got one from a legit business. I had visited a car dealership in another state, and a couple of days later, I got a call with a survey on how my visit went at that dealer. The call looked as if it was from my area code, yet they were in a completely different area and state from either the dealership or me (she said so).
