I think they are missing an opportunity here.


If you are going to go with a fully self-driving car, then why does the interior still look very car-like?

If you don't need to drive it, then the interior should look more like the lounge area of an RV, not like the interior of a conventional sedan. If a machine is doing the driving, I want to be reading a book, playing cards, working on a laptop, or taking a nap. A conventional driver's seat isn't the best choice for any of those activities.
