Edit: It was funny hearing Tony Romo tapdance around that in the second half last night. He made the observation that the Pats may have benefitted from some "home cooking" by the clock operator at the end of the first half, and it seemed pretty clear to me that at the start of the second half he had someone in his ear saying, "you'd better point out that the clock operator works for the NFL".....not that that makes it look any better, in my opinion.
